Saint Lawrence Hall
Traditional seat of power to the Assembly, St. Lawrence Hall sits at the corner of King and Jarvis, one of the jewels of the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood and Old Town Toronto. While most of the building is still used by the public, its base holding a bank and a popular Italian restaurant, the Hall also contains a sealed secret room, its floor marked with the sign of the Pentacle in which sit two chairs. One sits for the Free Council itself, a chair occupied by the Speaker of the York Assembly during official business. The second stands for the Column of the Forum, the last Column, the Nameless Mages who died to free Toronto from the grip of the Seers of the Throne. Owned and maintained by the Free Council, the Hall holds great power, but more and more is being avoided by the Assembly due to its public nature and lack of privacy.
